Lexus The Elven Horse Silicon Mold
The ‘Lexus The Elven Horse’ horse mold is a large silicon mould for resin. This 3D silicon horse mould is also suitable for all types of modelling clay and in polymer clay craft projects . It can be safely used with food decoration mediums such as chocolate or fondant.
Our silicon molds are heat resistant (temperatures up to 240 Celsius), microwave, refrigerator and freezer safe.
Tips for using the silicon molds
For better results, when using this silicon mold for resin we recommend that you apply a release agent first, for example a thin layer of cooking oil spray. If you are using the mold for polymer or air-dry clay we recommend that you apply a fine layer of cornstarch, talcum powder or water on the mold before filling it with clay.
Why Lexus The Elven Horse
The horses of the Elves were directly descended from Nahar, the steed of Oromë, Huntsman of the Valar. Nahar and his fellow Arrochath were, of course, immortal; however, their descendants the ‘Nimrochath’ were not, but elvish horses nevertheless lived to great age (100 years was not unusual).
Now that we numbed your line of thoughts with all these strange names and potentially useless information, let us tell you about Lexus, the Elven Horse. Actually, Lexus was a real horse. She was no Elven, but we have a wild imagination, so bear with us; we are dreamers.
Lexus was a splendid mare owned by one of our great friends. A stunning animal with a bigger than life personality who passed away a few years ago, so we decided to create this design in her honour. RIP, Lexus! Your memory lives on!
