The ‘Dragonfly Wings’  is a large silicon mould for resin. This 3D silicon mould is also suitable for all types of modelling clay and in  polymer clay craft projects . It can be safely used with food decoration mediums such as chocolate or fondant.

Our silicon molds are heat resistant (temperatures up to 240 Celsius), microwave, refrigerator and freezer safe.

Tips for using the silicon molds

For better results, when using this silicon mold for resin we recommend that you apply a release agent first, for example a thin layer of cooking oil spray. If you are using the mold for polymer or air-dry clay we recommend that you apply a fine layer of cornstarch, talcum powder or water on the mold before filling it with clay.

Dragonfly story

Believe it or not, the dragonfly was the very first mold we ever made. Together with a bee, it was part of a 2-pack design. We are bringing it back for a limited period of time, so get yours while it is still available.

This 3D silicon mould can be used for resin and it is also suitable for all types of modelling clay and in  polymer clay craft projects . These two gorgeous beetles are, indeed, very lovable. We are so in love with them. They were designed with jewelry making in mind (wouldn’t they be stunning as pendants?), specifically for use with urethane or epoxy resin. The delicate antennas and legs of the insects will stay strong when cast in resin. You can always use polymer clay or air-dry clay with these molds to create a reproduction of the insects’ body and wings, but we recommend the use of metal wire for the legs and antennas.
